Discover the components of the latest Urban Studies module below and realize your entrepreneurial dream!
When you decide to embark on the great project that is an entrepreneurial start-up, it is important to have the right resources, the right tools, but what is even more essential is a realistic, ambitious and quality marketing plan. A marketing plan is a kind of strategy that indicates the next steps and actions that the business will take and that will ensure its success. This part of the module will explain how to create your own marketing plan to get your business off to a good start. It is not always easy to start a project without knowing where to begin and it can be intimidating. Our goal is to get our students to find the entrepreneur in them so that they can achieve great things when they are ready to enter the building inspection field.
Self-employment does not have the same characteristics, benefits and tax laws as an employee. This part of the module on starting a business will teach you what you need to know about self-employment in order to be well prepared for the job market. Here are some examples of self-employment: being in control of your schedule and managing it well, billing your clients for taxes and deducting expenses for your taxes.
